Describe the difference between monitoring active and inactive users
Explain the benefits of Risk Detection
role
UX writing consultant (work provided as Senior Copywriter)
responsibilities
UX flow, UI copy, incomplete steps, error states, success messages
Key parts of the process
Streamline order of steps: After reviewing an earlier draft of mass deployment steps, I proposed switching steps 2 and 3 for a more natural order of events, i.e., finishing the settings before turning on the feature.
Create variable copy: In order to encourage the optional step of mass deployment, I proposed an infobox that only appeared if an admin skipped step 2 and explained why mass deployment is highly encouraged. Additionally, I provided two tooltips for different states of coverage.
Provide as much guidance as possible: Because mass deployment relies on third-party tools, there was a limit to how much information Dashlane could provide. To that end, we included the most useful tips while also linking out to our Help Center with additional detail.
Validate with Engineers and Sales Engineers: As Iām not a subject matter expert on different deployment tools, I had to partner closely with engineering to ensure that copy edits I suggested were not changing technical meaning or accuracy.
